OPS2

The CRTs have three Modes GPC, SM and PL - every program has different displays for each mode. The two Main modes in SSM2007 are GPC, used for on orbit manuvering and system settings and SM used for Mission Payload OPS.

All four CRTs allow the crew the same functions. the three forward CRTs are controlled from the C2 Panel while the Rear CRT is controlled from the R11 Panel.

Burn information box
OMS burn Mode

allows the crew to set which type of burn will be performed.

Burn Trim

for “dialing” in the required Trim for the upcoming burn - once modified Load must be performed for the new Data to be accepted.

BURN ATT

The Required Attitude for the upcoming burn - this section also allows the crew to change the attitude and order the Shuttle to maneuver itself to the programed attitude.

REI

displays the Time to apogee (TTA) or the Time To perigee (TTP)

GMBL

Displays and controls the gimbals of the OMS engines (left & right).
